In fact, to be precise, you should be bitten by a dog that carries rabies virus in its saliva, so you need to get a rabies vaccine. Dogs with this disease will generally show obvious symptoms of rabies (change in nature, biting, dirty hair, etc.), which cannot be diagnosed by simple means. This investigation method has two uses:
1. It is better to avoid 2 doses of vaccine, which is cheaper and saves time
2. There is no rabies virus in dog saliva, so the bitten person can put aside the heavy mental burden.
For the sake of safety, if you are bitten and bleeding, you should still get the rabies vaccine as soon as possible
The 10-day inspection method has been tested and proven to be effective in all countries around the world, including India and Thailand, where rabies is much more serious than in Bill. However, it is not recommended in China. The reasons may be:
