How to raise Husky puppies
Husky (certain introduction)

When you bring a Husky puppy home, you have one more responsibility. In addition to the support of food, clothing, housing and transportation, it is also necessary to cultivate emotional aspects such as exercise, behavioral restraint and so on. Today, the editor and everyone share the essence of protecting Husky puppies.
1. Prepare the cage
The cage is a place for puppies to rest and eat. There is no one at home or the owner is busy at home and has no time to play with the puppies and is afraid of the puppies making trouble. You might as well put the puppy in to rest.
Moreover, puppies have the habit of picking up items to eat everywhere. If they are left scattered at home, they are likely to eat dangerous items and get sick. Some puppies also like to chew furniture and floors, so in order to protect your furniture, it is best to keep the puppies closed.
The cage is preferably larger than 1.2 meters, so that it can be used until the puppy reaches adulthood. It is best to place the cage in the owner's bedroom, so that the puppy can smell the owner's breath while sleeping and will not panic or worry.
From the day the puppy arrives home, it is necessary to start training in the cage, which is very important for the puppy's future character. First of all, please note that the cage is the puppy’s home, not a prison. So don't hit her in the cage, and don't punish your puppy by shutting it in the cage because it does something wrong. This will make her hate the cage.
The correct method is: when the owner has the energy to play with the puppy, he can put the puppy out of the cage to play. When the puppy is tired, put some snacks or toys that the puppy likes in the cage to induce her to enter the cage. When she goes in, praise her all the time to let her understand that the owner will be very happy after entering the cage, so she might as well get praise. If you keep doing this, the puppies will be happy and like the cage.
Note: Do not disturb the puppy again after entering the cage. Some puppies will keep screaming as soon as they close the cage 3-4 days after they arrive home. Some owners will get annoyed and put the puppies out of the cage or beat them, which is very wrong. The correct way to do it is: put the puppy in the cage and then ignore her.
Generally, puppies scream to attract the owner's attention. If the owner puts the puppy out or comforts the puppy at this time, then she will think: If I yell well, the owner will come and play with me. In this way, the more she shouts, the more powerful she will become. Therefore, after the owner puts the puppy into the cage, no matter how she yells, ignore her, and it is best not to even look at her. She will gradually understand this pattern: even if she shouts, no one will listen to her, and she will calm down from now on.
If the puppy starts crying tired halfway, the owner must step up after it has calmed down.Praise her and feed her snacks during this time. If she starts shouting again, just ignore her immediately. Let her understand: when she is calm, she will get praise from her master, but if she quarrels, she will not get his love. Gradually, puppies will learn to be calm.
This kind of argument will generally last for 3-4 days, during which the owner can only endure it. If you can't bear it, the puppy will develop the bad habit of barking, and it may take several years to correct this bad habit. Therefore, you must be patient these days: don't touch her, but don't pay attention to her either.
Note: The owner must be present when training in the cage. Do not leave the puppy alone in the cage.
2. Feeding issues
When the puppies just arrive home, don’t be anxious about feeding them. Just prepare a bowl of clean water in the cage. During cage training, if the puppy is safe, you can feed it as a compliment.
Puppies under 3 months old should be fed 4 times a day. The appropriate amount should be soaked in warm water or bone soup until soft. It is best to give the dog food as much as possible, and not feed it or feed it less snacks to avoid the problem of picky eating. Be careful not to feed puppies too much, as this will cause diarrhea and even lower immunity.
Snacks and toys are used during puppy training. The puppy must pay a price to get them. She cannot be allowed to get snacks and toys everywhere at any time, otherwise the compliance of the puppy will be reduced. The snacks are mainly chicken, small grains of dog food or dog cakes. Do not feed small chicken bones or items that can easily scratch the stomach. The toys mainly include shouting balls, bells and other items that are not easy to chew or swallow.
The use of snacks and toys is demonstrated in the exercises on the opposite side.
3. Penetration training
Puppies generally penetrate after sleeping and eating. If the owner carries out effective cage training, the puppy will get used to eating and sleeping in the cage, and then penetration training can be carried out.
Puppies do not like to sleep in the place where they sleep. Under normal circumstances, they will leave the cage to sleep. The owner may wish to lay a lot of newspapers outside the cage in advance, and after putting the puppy out, let her dredge on the newspaper covered area until she penetrates.
When the puppy penetrates, the owner should immediately praise and stroke the puppy, and praise and give her snacks or toys. If your puppy pees in the wrong place, don't punish her. Just clean up the urine and use deodorant to remove the smell.
During practice, pay attention to: praise immediately if you do something right, and don’t punish if you do something wrong. If you keep this for a few days, the puppies will penetrate the place where the newspapers are spread. At this time, gradually reduce the number of newspapers spread, keep it for a few more days, and then spread the newspapers to the toilet or a place that is easier to clean (not too far away from the cage). )
Because the osmotic system of puppies is not fully developed yet, they often cannot hold back and pull randomly, so the owner must insist on training and strengthen the results. When the puppy is 5 or 6 months old, she will get used to leaking outside.Through practice is interrupted.
4. Stop biting training
Puppies often have the bad habit of biting people and will often bite their owners’ hands. During the biting exercise, the puppy must understand the "No" command.
The method is as follows: when the owner is playing with the puppy and the puppy opens its mouth and wants to bite, the owner quickly and sternly says "No", and then leaves the puppy alone and ignores her. Go play with her again after 5 minutes. If she bites again, continue to say "No" and ignore her immediately.
Repeatedly, puppies will gradually understand that biting is wrong. If the puppy does not open its mouth when playing with people, praise her gently and stroke her to slowly correct the puppy's biting habit.
5. Stop biting training
If the biting training is successful and the puppy understands the "No" command, it can be trained to bite. During training, prepare some toys such as dog chew glue and dog chew rope.
Puppies have the habit of chewing furniture. When she opens her mouth to bite the furniture, the owner gives the "No" command and puts the dog chews in front of the puppies to attract her to bite the chews. If the puppy abandons chewing furniture and chews dog glue, the owner should praise her immediately.
If the puppy ignores the owner and continues to bite the furniture, the owner can say "No" more strictly, tap the puppy's nose to stop her, and hand her a chewable toy. If the puppy stops chewing the furniture, praise him.
After a few days of repetition, the habit of biting objects will be eliminated.
6. Stop jumping training
When the puppy rushes up to the owner impulsively, give the "No" stop command. If the puppy stops, praise her. If the puppy continues to pounce on the owner, gently bump her chest with your knee and say "No" to make her feel uncomfortable. The shortcomings of attacking people can be corrected by repeated repetitions.
If only the owner trains the puppy in this way, the puppy may think that only the owner cannot pounce. Therefore, after the owner completes the training, he can tell his partner this method and let his partner train the puppy in this way to let her understand that no one can pounce.
7. Problems with outings
Puppies need to undergo socialization training when they are 2-3 months old. This training is very critical. If it fails, it will affect the puppy's character for life.
When the puppies are more than 2 months old, the owners can wear them outside and interact with the outside world. Since the puppy's immunity has not yet been completed at this time, it is important to focus on contact with the outside environment and people, and avoid contact with other dogs. During this period, the owner can take the puppy for a walk outside and receive inquiries and compliments from neighbors, so that the puppy will no longer be afraid of unfamiliar people and unfamiliar situations.
After the vaccination is completed (about 3 months old), the owner can take the puppy out for a walk carefully and let her interact with other species. But keep it in mindWear a leash and avoid contact with unclean dogs, aggressive and unfriendly dogs, and adult dogs. If the puppy is frightened by others during this period, it will cause lifelong fear, so the owner must pay attention.
Before puppies are 6 months old, it is best to interact with dogs of the same age to avoid excessive contact with adult dogs.
8. Grooming Issues
Do not prevent puppies from dredging vigorously before they are 6 months old. Basically, you should leave it alone and ensure that the puppies have enough time and space to circulate. However, you should not let the puppies get too tired, otherwise it will affect bone development.
After the puppy is 6 months old, you can start to exercise it in a practical way. It is advisable to exercise it twice a day for 30 minutes. Owners who have the conditions can ride bicycles and run with their dogs, preferably about 5 kilometers a day, and replenish water immediately after exercise.
However, pregnant female dogs and elderly dogs should avoid intense exercise.
9. Health Issues
It is best not to exercise in places where safety cannot be maintained before puppies are vaccinated to avoid getting sick. Puppies sometimes have unusual conditions at home. If the puppy shows the following symptoms: the body temperature is too high or too low (less than 38 degrees, higher than 40 degrees), the nose is dry, a large amount of yellow thick eye droppings, loss of appetite, energy If it is very bad, you need to send it to the hospital for examination.
It doesn’t matter who you feed, but raising a good child requires enough patience, love and knowledge.
